The customers were introduced to System Six through a personal recommendation, arriving with a clear vision for a contemporary kitchen that balanced visual impact with intelligent storage.

The kitchen is specified in Linden Aluma Grey Metal Slate and Cubanit Grey, a modern palette that delivers depth and subtle contrast without overpowering the space. Black Aluminium rails frame the handleless cabinetry, reinforcing the clean architectural lines and providing definition across the elevations. LED underlit strip lighting has been integrated beneath the wall cabinets, enhancing task lighting while adding a soft, ambient layer to the overall design.

A built-in wine rack introduces both functionality and a touch of visual interest, breaking up the cabinetry and supporting the kitchen’s role as a social space. Behind the hob, an Antique Mirror splashback reflects light and movement, adding character and a sense of depth while complementing the darker finishes. Worktops, upstands and the window sill are finished in 20mm Ammonite Carrara Quartz, selected for its durability and timeless appeal, tying the scheme together with a lighter, refined surface.

Storage has been carefully considered throughout the kitchen. Beneath the hob, deep pan drawers are paired with internal drawers, maximising usable space and allowing everyday essentials to be organised efficiently without compromising on clean external lines.

The adjoining utility continues the same considered approach, designed as a hardworking but visually calm extension of the kitchen. Open shelving provides easy access to frequently used items, while a dedicated hanging rail supports day-to-day laundry tasks. Appliances are neatly housed behind cabinetry, keeping the washing machine and tumble dryer hidden from view. A generous worktop area offers practical space for sorting and folding, with a sink zone and tall storage units ensuring the room remains both functional and uncluttered.
