This project formed part of a collection of five, five-bedroom eco homes delivered by S C Evans in Copplestone. Having worked with the developer on previous schemes, we were appointed to deliver a coordinated interior package across each home, including the kitchen, utility and fitted wardrobes. The kitchens were designed by Alec Broom, with a brief focused on longevity, practicality and a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for modern family living.

The kitchens are specified in Linden Aluma, combining Grey Gladstone Oak with Taupe Grey to introduce warmth and subtle contrast. Ammonite Valencia Quartz worktops and upstands provide a durable, refined surface, while a central waterfall island creates a strong visual anchor and a natural social hub within the open-plan layouts. Bronze Aluma rails frame the handleless cabinetry, adding definition and a softer metallic accent that elevates the overall scheme.

Appliance specification has been carefully considered to support everyday use at scale. Each kitchen features a full suite of Siemens appliances, complemented by a CDA fridge and freezer and a Quooker Pro3 Flex boiling water tap. Storage has been maximised throughout, including the integration of a LeMans corner unit to ensure traditionally difficult spaces remain fully accessible and functional.

The adjoining utility rooms continue the same material language, finished in Linden Aluma Taupe Grey with Bronze Aluma rails for consistency. Practicality is at the forefront of the design, with generous storage, dedicated sink areas and a laundry stacking drawer positioned between the washing machine and tumble dryer, streamlining day-to-day tasks while keeping appliances neatly concealed.

Fitted wardrobes and dressing areas were also supplied for each home, specified in Linden Marone Casella Oak. Matt black handles provide a crisp contrast against the timber finish, while adjustable shelving and hanging space ensure flexibility for future occupants. Integrated desks further enhance the usability of these spaces, supporting home working and study within the wider residential scheme

Together, the kitchens, utility and wardrobes deliver a cohesive, well-considered interior solution across the development, balancing contemporary design with practical detailing and durability suited to modern eco-focused family homes.
