This kitchen forms part of a thoughtfully designed home where clean lines, practical storage and subtle detailing work together to create a space that feels both calm and highly functional. Designed to support everyday living while maintaining a timeless aesthetic, the scheme combines classic shaker cabinetry with carefully selected internal features that enhance organisation and usability.

Designed by Alec Broom, in collaboration with W Symons Property, the kitchen is finished in the Nailsworth door in Porcelain, creating a soft neutral palette that complements the natural light entering through the large window. The shaker detailing adds quiet character to the cabinetry while maintaining a refined, understated look that suits the home’s overall style.

Appliances have been carefully integrated to maintain the clean visual flow of the cabinetry. The kitchen is equipped with CDA appliances, including the hob, extractor, integrated fridge freezer and dishwasher, delivering reliable everyday performance while keeping the layout streamlined and uncluttered.

Storage has been a key consideration throughout the design. A LeMans corner unit maximises otherwise difficult-to-access space, allowing the corner cabinetry to remain fully usable without compromising accessibility. A Dynamic Space larder provides generous internal storage for dry goods and everyday essentials, helping to keep the main preparation areas clear and organised.

Internally, the cabinetry features oak cutlery tray inserts, introducing a subtle natural material that enhances both organisation and durability within the drawers. These small details ensure the kitchen works as efficiently inside the cabinets as it does visually on the outside.

The design is completed with Nailsworth plinths and cornices, which frame the cabinetry and reinforce the traditional shaker styling while maintaining a cohesive, well-finished appearance throughout the space.

The result is a kitchen that balances practicality with understated design, delivering a well-organised and durable space built for everyday life.
